Falmouth Week 2018: 10th-19th August

Red Arrows 2015 Falmouth Week

As one of the largest sailing regattas in the South West, Falmouth Week features around 450 yachts racing over 7 days, accompanied by a lively programme of events both on and off the water.

Head into Falmouth and you’ll find plenty to see and do, with themed party nights, live music, a marching carnival, local markets, daily performances and more. The Red Arrows Display, which takes place mid-week, and the world class fireworks display over the harbour on Friday night are a couple of our favourites!

On the water, the racing programme challenges even the most competitive sailors and provides a fantastic spectacle. Enjoy watching as keelboats, traditional craft and dinghies race in the waters of Falmouth Bay, the Carrick Roads and the harbour. The popular Champagne Day on Wednesday is worth a watch too as the big yachts take to the water to race over a 25-mile coastal course.

Whether you’re travelling alone, with a loved one or as a group of friends or family this event is one not to miss!
