“We stayed for 4 nights as we wanted to discover most of Cornwall for a week. It blew away all our expectations:
- The cheapest options amongst hotels, inns and BnB. For that price, we didn’t expect much but…:
- 10min walk from the Train Station
- Amazing campus full of greenery, like a little lost forest. And lots of wild blackberries to forage!
- Adorable and helpful staff
- Lovely and comfy rooms with towels and soap. And a lot of space so store luggage, equipment and clothes
- Spotless room and comfy beds
- Available fully equipped kitchen on the other side of the corridor (shared space but we saw no one else during our week there)
- Available gym 24/7 (weekly membership around £20)
- Cheap laundry rooms (wash+dry) 24/7 with a connected app to track the time left from your bed
- A cute cosy coffee shop inside the campus with some Starbucks products available can also work as working space
- Will absolutely recommend this place to anyone not afraid of being 10min train from Truro!”

“We booked a double room last minute after our camping holiday got rained off early. We stayed for two nights, and read the information available to us about the property beforehand so we knew what to expect. Both being ex-students ourselves who stayed in student accommodation during our studies, we thought that what was on offer was true to what we read online.
The staff were lovely – check in was easy and we were given keys, a map and a description of where to go and where to park. We were allowed to drive to outside the flat and drop our stuff off before parking in a secure nearby car park on campus. It was up a hill a few hundred metres away but we didn’t mind this considering it’s a university campus. We were reassured that the reception was opened 24 hours so if we had any issues they would be there to help. There was a well stocked shop (with a gluten free section, great for a Coeliac like myself!), a coffee shop, a gym and a canteen. There were frequent busses heading into Falmouth and nearby towns.
The flat itself housed 7 en suite rooms and a communal kitchen area with a large table. We had access to the usual appliances as well as cupboard and fridge/freezer space. Room was spacious with a basic double bed, bedding and linen (again remember this is student accommodation!). We also had towels. The area was quiet, there were plenty of plug sockets, the shower was lovely and hot/good pressure. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend!”

“Excellent stay, my son even did the park run from Tremough House. It was lovely to see the old building. We brought our own breakfast and therefore used the kitchen facilities which was well stocked with utensils etc. We will definitely come again. It was nice to meet other people in the communal kitchen.”
