Our Glasney Rooms and Glasney Flats are located on the Penryn Campus, home to students from Falmouth University and the University of Exeter for most of the year. During the summer break, at the peak of the season, we exclusively open our accommodation to visitors.
We take pride in offering clean, functional, and affordable accommodation with excellent access to Falmouth, Penryn, Truro, and the wider Cornish region. Iconic destinations such as St Ives, Land’s End, and the Minack Theatre are all within an hour’s reach.

How to find us
If you are using a GPS or sat nav, use postcode TR10 9AJ to reach Glasney Lodge.
Glasney Rooms and Flats on the Penryn Campus, are located on Treliever Road, just off the A39 from Truro. Follow signs to the University Campus, and once you arrive at the Campus site, turn left and park in Car Park A (if you are driving). Next, head to Glasney Lodge to check in (just past the bus stops and turn left down the hill). If you are arriving out of hours, our Security team is available 24/7 in Glasney Lodge to support you.

Check In and Check Out
Check-in is from 4 pm until 7.30 pm. After this time, you’ll need to check in out of hours at the Glasney Lodge with our security team. You may be able to leave luggage at Glasney Lodge before 4 pm (subject to space availability).
Check-out is by 10 am on the day of your departure. Once again, luggage may be left at reception, subject to the space available.
Rooms are accessed with a key or card. So please keep these safe, as a charge will be levied for lost keys not returned on departure.

If you have booked directly with us, please ensure that you read through your booking Terms and Conditions carefully.
Parking information
Parking is not permitted in Glasney Village itself. Reception will give you access to drop off and collect your luggage (if needed); however, cars should then be parked at one of the campus car parks situated 30 – 100 metres (a 5-minute walk) from the accommodation.
The closest car park to your accommodation is Car Park A. However, there is plenty of overflow parking on campus, though, so don’t worry! If you need to cross the barrier to park, please inform Reception at Check-in, as you’ll need to be issued with a parking code, so that the barrier automatically lifts when you leave the site. Above all, our guest parking is free of charge. If you are a blue badge holder, speak to the staff at Glasney Lodge Reception, who will direct you to the disabled parking bays within the accommodation grounds.
Information for guests with special requirements
For guests with special requirements, please let us know at the time of booking. We will always do our best to meet these requirements, but they cannot always be guaranteed.
We have a limited number of fully adapted accommodation units, which are suitable for guests with disabilities. Furthermore, Cornwall Plus may also be able to allocate a ground-floor room if you have limited mobility.
Rooms
Glasney Rooms are Double or Twin bedrooms with an en suite shower room. Your room includes linen and towels. If you require an extra pillow, please contact Reception.
Breakfast options
A range of convenient pay-as-you-go breakfast options is available on campus:
Koofi Café
Located next to Glasney Lodge Reception, Koofi, our pizza cafe, offers a light continental breakfast Monday to Friday, alongside Starbucks coffee, pastries, and grab-and-go snacks.
Campus Shop
The on-site shop stocks a wide range of snacks, drinks, and everyday essentials — perfect for breakfast on the go. Open Monday to Friday, it offers everything you need for breakfasts, lunches, picnics, and evening meals. You’ll also find a great selection of household items, toiletries, stationery, and newspapers.
For evenings and weekends, the local Asda supermarket is just a 5–10 minute drive or around a 20-minute walk from campus.
The Stannary
A full English breakfast is available Monday to Friday from 8:00am – 10:30am, with a selection of vegan, vegetarian, and meat options.
More Campus Amenities
Sports Centre: The Sports Centre includes a fully equipped gym, fitness suite, and sports hall facilities. Courts are available to hire for badminton, basketball, indoor football, and table tennis, with equipment available to borrow. The first-floor fitness suite features over 90 cardio and resistance stations, free weights, and a dedicated exercise studio offering a range of fitness classes.
Guests are very welcome to use the facilities on a pay-as-you-go basis during their stay. For Sports Centre enquiries, please call 01326 370770.
Laundry Facilities: Laundry Facilities are available on site. Laundry cards cost £2 and can be purchased through a dispensing machine in Glasney Lodge reception.
Communal Kitchen: At the end of the corridor in your Glasney flat, you’ll find a shared communal kitchen available for all guests to use. The kitchen is equipped with a kettle, cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, cutlery, crockery, a dining table, and seating for up to 10 people.
Please be considerate of other guests by cleaning up after yourself and removing any unwanted food from the fridge when you check out.
Contactless Campus
The campus is a contactless campus, so please do not bring cash with you, as this will not be accepted as a form of payment.
Additional Information
Fire Safety: Familiarise yourself with the fire safety procedures located on the back of your bedroom door. Please note that a short fire alarm test takes place weekly, but it usually takes place at a quiet period of the day.
First Aid: All Duty Managers in Glasney Lodge have been trained in First Aid by the St John’s Ambulance Service. If you require first aid assistance, please contact Glasney Lodge on 01326 253503.
Maintenance: Report any maintenance issues to Glasney Lodge Reception, where your issue will be logged and dealt with as soon as possible.
Notice: Estate Improvement Works – Mid to Late July 2026
Please be aware that essential external improvement works will be taking place on two unoccupied accommodation blocks during mid to late July 2026. Scaffolding may also be present in nearby areas while work is underway.
We will make every effort to minimise disruption and ensure guests continue to enjoy a comfortable stay on campus.
