At Penryn Campus, summer guests, residential groups, and visitors can enjoy a range of convenient on-site campus facilities designed to make their stay comfortable and enjoyable. Dining options include Koofi Pizza and Starbucks Café, the Sustainability Café, and Stannary Breakfast—ideal for relaxed meals, quick bites, or meeting up with friends and fellow travellers. The Campus Shop is available for everyday essentials, snacks, and last-minute items, while the excellent sports facilities provide great opportunities to stay active and make the most of your time on campus.
koofi cafe
Sitting behind Glasney Lodge reception is our Koofi Café which serves light bites, drinks and alcohol. Enjoy a Starbucks Coffee and try one of the delicious pizzas. There is also a light continental breakfast ‘grab and go’ option.
Koofi has indoor and outdoor seating and is only a five-minute walk from Glasney Rooms. It is a great place to relax and grab a bite to eat Monday to Friday, in the daytime, during your stay. Our extended seating area includes a pleasant outdoor terrace where you can make the most of sunny summer days.

sustainability Cafe
On the Upper Stannary, you’ll find our Sustainability Café with spectacular views of Penryn and the sea. The Sustainability Café serves quality Cornish coffee, vegan and vegetarian artisan sandwiches, soup, salads, pastries, and drinks sourced locally and from the Westcountry.
You are strongly encouraged to use reusable cups in the café, so bring your own if you would like a takeaway drink.
The Sustainability Café is open for lunch and afternoon tea, Monday to Friday.
stannary breakfast
A pay-as-you-go full English breakfast or hot breakfast bap is available in the Stannary from 8am – 10.30am Monday to Friday. Choose from a range of delicious vegan, vegetarian, and meat items.
Light lunches are also available Monday to Friday in the Stannary from 12pm to 2pm or in the Upper Stannary in the Sustainability Café from 9am until 4pm.
All Penryn catering outlets have a 5-star hygiene rating following the latest Food Standards Agency (FSA) inspection. This top rating reflects their commitment to the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness
campus shop
Our on-site shop stocks ethical, Fairtrade products with everything from wine to toothpaste and fresh locally sourced vegetables, to fruit, meat, and bread.
You will find everything you need here for your lunches, beach picnics, and late-night snacks. There is also an ASDA supermarket just around the corner, which is a 20 minute walk away or only five minutes by car.

sports facilities
Our Sports Centre includes a Gym and a large Sports Hall, with courts available to hire for badminton, indoor football, basketball, and table tennis. The Sports Centre can provide you with both badminton rackets, shuttle cocks, and table tennis balls. On the first floor, the Flexsi Fitness Suite is equipped with 90 stations of the latest cardio and resistance equipment, as well as free weights. A range of classes is held in the studio for all abilities throughout the week. The centre includes large changing rooms with showers and lockers.
