There is a really lovely walk from Porthleven along the cliff tops to reach Loe Pool. Loe Bar is a ridge of sand and shingle between Loe Pool (the largest natural fresh water lake in Cornwall) and the Atlantic sea. It is a site of outstanding historical, geomorphological and conservation interest.
